Assembled Shunt Capacitor
Use and Application
It’s mainly used in 50Hz Frequency, 6kV, 10kV, 35kV, 66 kV and 110 kV rated voltage system of power frequency for reactive compensation to increase the power factor, decrease the loss and improve power quality.

The meaning of type model
   Example: BAM11/√3-3600-1*3W
That means: Benzyl toluene impregnating, film dielectric, HV shunt capacitor, rated voltage is 11/√3kV; rated capacity is 3600kVar, three phases, outdoor.

5 Running continuously under 1.1 times rated voltage.
6 Running continuously under not above 1.3 times rated current.
7.Creeping distance of outlet bushing: ≧32kV/mm
8 Bushing pollution level: 1V
Service condition:
1 The capacitors can be used in door or outdoor.
2 The altitude of the site is not more than 1000m.
3 Temperature range: -40/55℃.
4 There is no corrosive gas and vapor, no conductive or explosive dust, no strong mechanical vibration.

5 The remaining voltage on the terminal should not exceed 10% of rated voltage when capacitors are put into operation.
